Increase in players going AFK and slow playing in Ranked timeless and explorer.
When playing in ranked matches against most players, I find that both players always end up with three timers available by the end of the game. Over recent months, I have personally experienced a much higher number of players going AFK upon joining a match and slow playing in general when faced with a game-ending board state or during those early turns where the options available are very minimal.
Given that it is a ranked match, I would like to see the bonus fuse timers reduced to a maximum of one instead of three, and the general time for the opening hand and turns slightly reduced.
I believe this will not detract from the game as it is competitive, and players should really be familiar with the decks they are playing and the flow of the first few turns for their deck.
If players wish to “test” decks, then they can utilize other game structures within Arena, such as “direct play” or “unranked play”.
