Losing because your app hung for 5 minutes and then crashed should not affect rank
Playing ranked match. Your app hung. Not sure what's going on. Waited a bit. Had to force quit/crash the app to get back in. This should not affect rank. 🤬

There's definitely exception handling in their app. If it detects a crash, or the exception is a certain type, the end of that match doesn't affect rank. There is definitely a way to design and code for this scenario.

They can't have it not affect rank because there is no way to tell if the server dropped the connection or the user(closed game, disconnected wi-fi, etc) and people would abuse it to never lose rank if they did that.
