Freeze and crash of the general client user interface on PC following the September 12 update
Following the September 12 update, the download of the update seems to have gone well. However, the game interface freezes as soon as I try to go to the Packs or the Store pages, or when I try to click on the quest renewal. The game freezes and it's no longer possible to access the menus, even if it's just to close the game. The bug concerns a PC platform.

I´m having the same problems as everybody here... the game crashes everytime i try the acess the store or try to open a pack...
i would invest money in this game, but due to all these problems i won't.WoTC, stop being lazy- listen to the clients and fix this.

As Magic enthusiast and IT guy, I did really want to play and fix this. As some people already noted, the issue can sometimes be resolved when changing the graphic settings to low. Running the system in a Linux I was able to see the process which hangs up (logs attached). The issue is within the Shader, which tries to load an invalid image. For further help in debugging feel free to reach out to me... Maybe, just maybe Wizards of the Coast should not have fired so many people last year.

It's weird that this only started happening for me after the September 25 update, but it's unplayable on mac. I was playing with no issues from september 12 up to September 24.
I was planning to go ham on the Duskmourn update, but I can only play it on my windows desktop (mobile constantly crashes, as usual), and I usually don't have access to it when I would be playing. -

Since posting that I've updated the client and fiddled with the graphical settings, changing them from low to medium and then back to low. Setting it to full-screen and then back again, restarting the client each time and now it seems to work okay.

The client worked fine on my 2018 Mac Mini before the recent large update. Now the client freezes and has graphical glitches whenever I mouse over the interface.
Currently unplayable on Mac.

I had opportunity to TEst the ARena with the new update into a windows 10 version , without recent update of MS. so i confirmed the arena game work correctly . so i think it's related to some updates of MS or OS system.

Memory 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
MacOS Sequoia 15.0I had the issues before updating to Sequoia from Catalina.

Good morning, after the latest MTGA update (25 September) on macOS Sequoia 15.0, the program starts but crashes shortly after (during the loading of the initial scene). On the Android version on my mobile, the game starts up regularly.
What I don't understand is that this should be a widespread issue on all Apple PCs, at least with macOS Sequoia 15.0, linked both to latest MTGA update 2 days ago, which followed Apple's update a couple of days earlier (until 5 days ago, I was using macOS Sequoia 14.7).Before the latest update, and with macOS Sequoia 15.0 already installed, the game was working perfectly. Therefore, the update was faulty.

someone say to use REVO uninstaller for clean the game and reinstall. AFter log in from different device and relogin iinto your main computer .

Same issue, both on PC and Steam. Especially in deckbuilder and store. Reinstalling doesn't fix it. Destroys all the fun and I have basically not played at all in the last weeks after playing nearly daily for almost 5 years. Please fix asap!

Phone app works but i hate to purchase on small screen as of sept 12 i can not open packs or make purchases on the desk top.
I tried a sealed token event and could not open packs to even build the deck. -

I have definitely been having the same issues the last 2 days. Game freezes mid-game...then it crashes. I get back into my game but sometimes it happens again to the same game. This is about 5 times now in the last 24 hours 10/2. I'm only using a PC when I play. No mobile devices

When I click on packs icon the screen begins to flash. It’s glitching so hard even when I force quit the program the background screen is still flashing with a ghost mark of the arena screen when the app isn’t even running. Using updated iOS on MacBook Pro.

Experienced this issue for over a week on Windows 11. Uninstalling and reinstalling the client did not help at all, nor did "Validate Bundles". What does seem to have eventually resolved the issue is changing the graphics settings from Custom to Medium.
