Same for me. Game freezes during the find a draft pod section. I get audio feedback that additional players are available and the draft pod is firing, but the game is frozen visually.
This has only happened since the last major patch. I'm on a Mac using the Epic client. On Sat Sep 21, this was happening, but I managed to get one draft to fire and everything was fine after that.
Today, I've tried several times. Sometimes it freezes on the "finding a pod" screen. Sometimes it freezes on the spinning wheel as soon as I hit "join draft".
The most recent time, I left it to see what would happen and my whole computer crashed and restarted.
Edit: whoops. One more detail. I was specifically trying to join the Premier BLB draft queue.

Same for me.
Doing the draft on Android does work, then I can switch back to my PC to play the games, but this isn't great.
