Enchanted Arvad, Weatherlight Smuggler with Witness Protection. On the following turn, the Arvada player played The Meathook Massacre. Arvard’s ability triggered at end of turn, even though Witness Protection was stripping him of abilities when he died.

No bug. When it came time for the trigger, Arvad had all his abilities because he no longer had Witness Protection enchanting him due to being in the graveyard.
