BUG: Kaito, Bane of Nightmares + Tishana's Tidebinder
Kaito, Bane of Nightmares is hit with Tishana's Tidebinder after using a Loyalty ability while a creature on it's controller's turn. Appropriately, he lost all abilities including the card displaying a greyed out version of the text that states "Kaito is a creature during its controller's turn."
Despite this, Kaito became a creature on my opponent's next turn despite still being Tidebinded by the Tishana's Tidebinder.
Based on the rules, if Kaito loses all abilities, this will include the static text that states that Kaito is a creature during its controller's turn.

Then why isn't he a 2/2?

Though the cards are working as intended, Kaito's static ability being greyed out is probably a visual bug, and is thus still something to be worked on.

And he does lose that ability. However, due to how the layer system works, type changing (layer 4) occurs before ability losing (layer 6), no matter in which order the effects are created. Layer 4 always comes before layer 6. And due to rule 613.6, once an effect starts to apply, it gets to apply fully even if parts of it apply in later layers, and the abilty generating the effdect is removed before then.
This is true also for Ygra, Kudo, and Ashaya.
