inescapable infinite loops should auto draw.
I understand peoples hates for infinite loops, but they happen. I do agree with others with loops that have a potential end being optimized either speeding them up or skipping to a specific number of repeats.
HOWEVER! My issue is more for loops that have no ends! In paper magic this results in an auto draw. If there is no way to end the loop the game needs to auto-draw instead of crashing the game. If a player has access to a spell that could end the loop either give them the option to draw, or end it after their choice of repeats.
This got extremely annoying for me playing a landfall deck where I inevitably got scute swarm popping off and it crashed the game (I did not mean to make it go off so hard, I needed a landfall trigger for another creature pretty badly). We got back to the game and I passed turn, but then the opponent played an infinite combo with no option to end it and it crashed the game, then didn’t allow me to rejoin(loaded for 5 minutes).
As other have said, this is not hard to make a check for and it NEEDS to be done! Whether you agree with the use of infini-combos or not, I’d much rather they be quick to complete and accept loss, or auto-draw instead of sitting forever (or crashing).

I most definitely agree. And to make matters worse the person who initiated the loop knows it doesn't guarantee a win but hopes that you just give up
