Authentication Failed for Username: Timeout (following Aetherdrift Update)
Following the Aetherdrift update, the PC version can't log in. Keeps coming up with "Authentication Failed for (my username): Timeout." Sometimes the white box starts to spin as it continues to wait for the server. Works on iPad, though.

Workaround:
run MTG Arena as admin update starts!

I have had the same issue as well ever since the update. Game is completely unplayable since it won't even start.
