Midnight Mangler flood the engine
Midnight Mangler getting enchanted with Flood the Engine shows all abilities as greyed out (lost) yet it still turns into a creature during the opponent's turn (meaning its still getting effected by its static ability).

Yes, because type changes happen in layer 4 while ability losing happens in layer 6. So any type change static ability will still get applied even if that static ability is lost through an effect. Same goes for Kudo, Kaito, Ashaya, and anything else changing types via static abilities. Making them lose those abilities won't stop them. due to the layer system applying type changes earlier.
