My opponent cast a Bushwhack targeting a black snake with deathtouch under their control created by Ophiomancer and my Ureni, the Song Unending (which has protection from white and black) causing them to fight. The targeting by Bushwhack completely makes sense, however, because of protection and the snake being black it shouldn't have been able to deal damage. The end result of the interaction was both creatures dying, where Ureni should have survived.
