Incorrect interaction with Unexepected Request and Buster Sword
I cast Unexpected Request on my opponents creature that was equipped with bustersword. After combat damage was assigned the bustersword ability triggered for my opponent versus me who was in control of the creature equipped with sword. He got a free cast of a spell during my turn, instead of me getting a free cast.

And that is not a bug. You took control of the creature, but not of anything attached to it. The Buster Sword was still controlled by your opponent, and since the triggered ability belongs to the equipment, they got the trigger.
