Gev, Scaled Scorch Persist Combo does not work
Gev, Putrid goblin, and sac outlet on the battlefield.
Sac putrid, persist trigger.
Putrid to the battlefield.
Gev gives +1 and persist gives -1 canceling out allowing loop.
Gev did not trigger on entry.
attached is a screenshot of the battlefield.
I will continue to try this to see if it is a one time thing.

Did you order the triggers correctly? The Mayhem Devil trigger must resolve first, and it must target the opponent, so that Gev can apply to the returning Putrid Goblin after the Mayhem Devil has dealt damage to the opponent.
