Deck import uses mismatched versions of cross-set cards despite card unification
Following the card unification update in MTG Arena, reprints across different sets are no longer counted separately in collection totals. However, when importing a deck, the game still appears to remember which specific versions of a card were previously owned, and defaults to importing inconsistent versions of the same card (e.g., a mix of different set printings). This behavior requires manual correction after every import, and may also lead to gameplay disadvantages—such as revealing deck information.
Expected behavior:
When importing a deck that includes cards with multiple printings, MTG Arena should consistently choose the same version of each card (preferably the oldest or default one), rather than mixing different set versions seemingly based on legacy ownership data.
