The case of the locked hothouse was solved during the event, but the turn after it was solved, the top card of the library wasn’t able to be played. The top card was a 2 cost creature with flash, I had a stop during my upkeep to cast it before drawing, and clicking the revealed card on top just led to a magnified view of the library, as it would without any effects active. After drawing the creature, the next card was a land, which also couldn’t be played. The turn after, there was an enchantment saga which couldn’t be played.
