Eriette the beguiler does not trigger control.
When Eriette is on board. I've tried to use various different aura on opponent creature who are less mana value than me, but I never get to control it. It is a game breaking bug.

The enchanted permanent has to have less or equal mana value than the aura you put on it. Eriette's mana value is irrelevant.
