Snakeskin Veil & Ruby, Daring Tracker
Ruby, Daring Tracker has haste.
Casting Snakeskin veil on this card the turn it is played grants the benefits of Snakeskin veil but causes it to TAP , removing haste. This can't be intentional?

If you pay for the Snakeskin Veil with mana from Ruby, yes. If the autotapper did so, you should disable it in the settings menu. That way, you will only see a proposal on how mana is aquired, and you can manually generate mana differently, even choose which mana in your mana pool is being spent. It will require more clicking and decision making on your part, though.
