Sundering titan is able to target lands in play in spite of Tomik, Distinguished Advokist and destroy them
recreated in bot match - gave sparky control of sundering titan, unsummoned it back to my hand, and it destroyed my land

Sundering Titan's ability does not target lands; instead, its controller chooses lands of each basic land type (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest) when the ability resolves, and all chosen lands are destroyed simultaneously. This distinction is crucial because lands that cannot be targeted, such as those with hexproof or shroud, can still be destroyed by Sundering Titan's ability
