Store won't let me purchase gems=

Arena play and connection works fine but I am unable to buy gems. The client always gets stuck on Waiting for the Server when I try to purchase. I have restarted and even reinstalled the client several times. please advise thank you.

Same issue that I am having with the game for MacOS. Wanting to buy gems so I can buy some "Daily Deals" but I guess I will have just miss out on it at this point! Thanks Wizards!
