Elven Bow inconsistent cost
Elven Bow costs an inconsistent amount of mana to create a 1/1 Elf token and attach the bow to it. Sometimes it costs 1, sometimes it costs 2. From what I can tell, there's a "bonus version" of the card with the cost of 2, but there's no way to specify which version you want to appear in your deck, so it defaults to costing 1 except when it's most inconvenient. Or possibly when directly challenging a friend.

The card got rebalanced for Alchemy and formats that use Alchemy cards. Meaning, the rebalanced version must and automatically will be used in Historic and Brawl. All other formats use the normal version. You can spot a rebalanced version by the "A" symbol in front of the card name. For the Bow, that version is the one that makes the token cost only 1 mana.
