Hexproof from Octopus Form did not trigger
The Hexproof from Octopus form didnt trigger in my game when the enemy copied the usage of my Heartless Act I played.
So I played Heartless Act, they played a red card that allows them to choose a new target for the ability, so on the stack I used Octopus Form to give Hexproof to my only creature, and then they were still able to effect and kill my creature which cost me the game in my best of 3 draft. Cool waste of money. Thanks WOTC.

Hexproof does not help against your own spells and abilities. Your opponent only targeted your spell, then changed the target of that spell to your creature, makming your spell target your creature. They at no point targeted your creature.
