When I used Liquimetal Coating on Toph to make her earthbend herself, with an Urborb, Tomb of Yawgmoth out, she didn't become a Swamp in addition to her other types, so she wasn't able to tap for mana. Same for Foundry Inspector with Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth in another game.
