Next turn opp was able to attack with tapped Cat-Owl which triggered its ability to untapped itself.
Shouldn’t watery grasp keep Cat-Owl tapped and unable to attack?

Happened a second time when Watery Grasp was played on First-Time Flyer.
Watery grasp played on opps tapped First-Time Flyer causing it to tap. Next turn opp was able to attack with a tapped creature
