Crystal barricade
When I have Crystal Barricade on the field, the opponent is still able to destroy other creatures of mine that are protected by Crystal Barricade. They are supposed to prevent all non-combat damage to other creatures you control. Would a spell that destroys a creature be considered non-combat damage?

No, a spell that destroys creatures just destroys, no damage involved whatsoever. Boom, they just dead.
