Chandra Flameshaper/Chandra's regulator. When you copy her -4 ability, it locks in the number of targets and amount of damage as the first iteration of the ability. I lost a game because I copied the ability and it forced me to deal one creature 7 damage and one creature 1 damage (Which did not kill that creature), even thought opponent had 3 creatures that I wanted to target with the ability for different amounts

Which the rules do not allow. Distribution of damage has to be chosen when the spell or ability that distributes it is put on the stack, and is locked in as a choice. Copying also copies that choice, you cannot change the values, nor the number of targets, for a copy.
