Game stuck in waiting for spell/phase resolution

This has happened to me twice now, in under an hour no less, and this never happened until this update. There seems to be no specific trigger either. The first time it happened I was in a much, just about to win, but instead the game froze/crashed and I was stuck waiting for my equip effect to resolve and attach to the creature that would have won me the match. The second time it happened I was playing with a friend. He's a streamer and I could see the bug only affected me. It was my turn, combat had just finished, but on my side, it never transitioned to my second main phase. I was stuck in post dmg combat phase. The timer eventually popped up, but instead of forcing me to concede, it just disappeared, and I was stuck on this screen (see attachment) until I force closed the app/game. Note that my options button is missing

The same has been happening for me specifically when I sacrifice Munitions tokens from Weapons Manufacturing by casting a single-target spell like Shrapnel Blast or Kuldotha Rebirth, but not from Meltdown. It acts as if the opponent is preparing a response but just hangs there with the timer running down, though it isn't completely frozen because the other player is able to use emotes. Eventually the options button disappears completely so that I can't even concede. I am also on Android mobile and this issue started after the latest update.

I experience the same issue on my Android mobile, since the same update. It is not a full freeze. Some client functionality, like viewing cards, remains. Other functionality, like hiding the effect stack, no longer works. Eventually, the timer for the opponent appears, but once the timer expires, nothing happens.
The longer a match goes, the more likely the bug becomes. It happens about every other match.
Workaround: I regularly check if I can hide the effects stack. When I can't, I immediately restart MTGA and try to reenter the match. But I often lose a full turn
