requiting hex - firdoch core
Hello,
in a game i had 3 requting hex, enough mana etc. My opponent activated firdoch core for 4 Mana an attacked.
In this case firdoch core is actually a creature - an artifact creature, but a creature. Nevertheless i can´t cast my requiting hex. What was wrong?

Destroy target creature with mana value 2 or less.
Firdoch Core's mana value is 3.
So the issue is. there's no valid target.
