I had a creature with hexproof get targeted!
I was playing in standard brawl. I had my commander out and casted snakeskin veil. It resolves and then they casted nowhere to run and they were still able to target my creature while it had the hexproof sigil on the creature! the spell had resolved and my creature was still targeted!

That's what Nowhere to Run does. It lets its controller ignore hexproof and ward. The card is not just a generic -3/-3.
"Creatures your opponents control can be the targets of spells and abilities as though they didn't have hexproof. Ward abilities of those creatures don't trigger."
