I want to play magic for the fun of it, using creative strategies and fighting against other creative decks. I do not play the game to win with the best deck possible. It's hard to to have fun when I'm fighting against the same 3 meta decks over and over and over and over and over again. It's so boring!!!! Adding a small personal ban list of even just 1 card in non ranked play would allow matchmaking to feel so much more refreshing! In real life I'd refuse to play against decks with the small handful of cards that absolutely ruin all fun in the game for me anyways, so why should that be different online? Even getting data on the cards people don't like playing against can provide helpful insights to card design in the future.

I know this feature will never see the light of day, but I still can't wait for the day I never go against another BORING Ouroboroid deck. Another boring, overpowered, anti-fun card will replace it of course, that's just how the meta goes these days in standard, but hopefully that next card won't be in what feels like 50% of all decks played against.
