This game is a dumpster fire.
There isn't a single format that isn't infested with netdeckers that couldn't build a deck of their own if their life depended on it. The shuffler is a joke. 26 lands in most of my decks and I'm lucky to get 2 in my opening hand. Then there's the customer service reps. Holy **** what a group of inept and useless people. You tell them a function is more broken than usual and they'll blame your equipment for it. I know for a fact that my PC is better than anything they have at WOTC, but yeah, my PC is the problem. You tell them their servers are unstable, they blame your internet connection. They have no support at all for mobile. Good luck to you if you play it on a phone. They'll blame your phone for any issues you run in to.
I guess if you like getting mana screwed and facing off against nothing but netdecks, Arena is for you. Otherwise, there are significantly better platforms to play Magic online with. This game has annoyed me so much that I flatly refuse to have anything to do with anything branded MTG anymore. I've liquidated my collection and got back into Warhammer. When a company is so poorly managed and their product so abysmal that going to plastic ***** is a better idea, it's time for the company to ask what it is that they are doing wrong. It's Hasbro though, so, of course they're never going to do that. They'll just keep pumping out garbage set after garbage set then blame the customer when it doesn't sell like they expected. If the Spiderman set was anything to go off, it's going to be a race to the bottom for MTG. At least when Richard Garfield ran the show, the sets were good and MTG was doing great. It's like when Disney got Star Wars, it's been all downhill since the sale.
