Inspiring Statuary being on the field sometimes prevents treasure tokens from being sacrificed for colored mana. It might have something to do with Goldspan Dragon and the ability it gives treasures to tap for two mana. I did not take a screenshot before I lost the game.
I should be able to either tap a treasure token for improvise, or sacrifice it to create colored mana.
