While playing in the Secrets of Strixhaven prerelease on MTG Arena, my opponent's Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist triggered incorrectly. She was the only creature to die during a turn, but her ability to drain life still triggered.

Probably died to Last Gasp or Poisoner's Apprentice, which made it a 0/0 creature and thus it triggered.
