Is anyone quality checking pre-made decks anymore?
This is honest feedback for the stone brains at WOTC.
Midweek magic (theoretically) is supposed to be about highlighting different playstyles, such as for new expansion sets. That did not happen. The pre-made spellstorm deck was more OP than all the other pre-made midweek magic decks by a large margin. If you wanted to stand a chance of getting your 3 wins for the week, you were pretty much required to use spellstorm, and that is what most people did. The other decks were cute, but ultimately their primary mechanic ended up just being to feed wins to the spellstorm deck.

I actually found my experience to be quiet the opposite. I used the spellstorm deck and kept getting CRUSHED beneath especially the Lorehold deck. So much so that it took me 9 times playing to get through the round and get the prize.
