Mana abilities of creatures are lost, that's included in "lose ALL abilities".
But creatures are not the only objects that can have mana abilities. Lands and artifacts are the usual suspects for that. Those can still be used, because they still exist. But all other activated abilities except for loyalty abilities cannot be used.
