Evils thrall/soeedball
I played evils thrall opponents soeedball. He had two other creatures besides soeedbaklk kill. I used evil’s throw on speed ball. He gained +2+2 and that was it. You still affected not to go off and no creature came to my side of the field

Your opponent changed the target to one of YOUR creatures, which are legal targets for Evil's Thrall. Since you already controlled your creature, nothing changed, except it got untapped and gained haste.
