Moonstone, Harsh Mistress does not triggers on connive
- Have Moonstone, Harsh Mistress in the graveyard. Play connive ability and discard a card. Moonstone ability won't trigger
- Windows 11 and MacOS
- Nothing happens - Moonstone won't allow mi to exile it.
- I should be able to exile Moonstone so I could later play it from exile
- None avilable 6 No workaround

Silly me - why I understood it is Moonstone who returns from the graveyard. SORRY!

She was in your graveyard, that's why. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, or if an ability can only function from a certain zone, all abilties function only while the source is on the battlefield. In short, to get the trigger, Moonstone has to be on the battlefield.
113.6. Abilities of an instant or sorcery spell usually function only while that object is on the stack.
Abilities of all other objects usually function only while that object is on the battlefield. The
exceptions are as follows: [...]None of the exception apply to Moonstone.
