There are a lot of abilities that are cumulative. Exalted, bushido, increment, evolve, pretty much everything that is a trigger.

That is not an error. He has two instances of the Prowess ability. Meaning when you cast a non-creature he will get a total of +2/+2 (in increments of +1/+1). If you look at the reminder text on a physical card it says he gets the +1/+1" twice". Prowess is one of the few abilities that work this way. Off the top of my head, the only ability I can think of that stacks with itself like this is Flanking (an ability that has seen little usage since the late 90s).
