If you cast this submit 0 is greyed out many times and you have to wait for time out so you dont take out one of your own enchantments etc…

No, you don't understand how the card works. The trigger is optional, but that does not ,mean, that you can choose to not put it on the stack. All optional triggers must be put on the stack, going through all the motions that requires, like choosing modes and targets. And Reclamation Sage's trigger requires exactly one target. The choice to execute the trigger's effect is made on resolution. THEN you can choose to decline. This goes for ALL optional triggers.
