Al bhed scavenger
Al bhed scavenger just doesn’t trigger when a creature dies. Had him and vindictive vampire on the field and only the vampire was triggering when a creature dies

Unlike Vindictive Vampire Al Bhed Scavanger's trigger targets an opponent. If you can't lergally target your only opponent, then the trigger cannot be put on the stack, and is removed. Your opponent most likely had hexproof.
