A different way to handle bans? Longshot?
What about instead of banning a card the rule was you couldn't put certain cards in decks together. So if two cards make do an infinite combo you want out, you don't have to ban one or the other, you can just say you can't play them in the same deck.
I am sure this has been thought of and spoken about already.
