To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.



Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  1. Card Database Function Removed

    Card Database was removed, bring it back. There is literally no reason to remove one of the most useful functions of the app, considering it also has rulings from Gatherer.

  2. Viewing back of a card in companion app

    I cannot see a way to view the backside of a double-face card in the companion app (android). The only button that appears is to swap between art styles. A large flip button would be an excellent addition for these cards.

  3. Not able to see event page

    My LGS holds regular drafts and links to wizards accounts. Since a couple of times I am not able to see the event info on the app (I still get notifications about the event so I know the account is linked properly, but the tba "join" only shows up as join to new events)
    I've tried restarting the phone, uninstalling the app, logging out and logging in, clear cache and nothing seems to work

  4. Missing sets/cards

    When doing an advanced search, the last 6 months or so worth of sets and commander precons are not showing as selectable search criteria (Modern Horizons 3, Assassin's Creed, Duskmourn, Bloomburrow, Foundations, Marvel/Dr Who Secret Lairs, etc).

    You can search up cards from some of those sets if you know the name or part of the name, but if you're trying to browse those sets for cards, you can't. Also, some of the Secret Lair exclusive cards aren't searchable at all.

  5. Prerelease combination with MTGA issues

    The recent change to how Prerelease codes are gone in lieu of event participation is bugged. I attended my local event but had to leave early due to personal reasons and assumed that having my information logged in and having done 2/4 of the games would suffice for online prize redemption. That was not the case, and my account was not credited.

    People have things come up, and when they pay for and attend the event, they should not be penalized.

  7. Remove learn to play-part of Companion-app

    My DCI-number is old enough to drink/vote and
    I’ve played about a hundred events through the Companion-app

    Yet, whenever I open the app, precious screen real estate (roughly 25%) is wasted on a “click here to learn the game”.
    Even if I cluck through those pages the banner doesn’t disappear.

  10. Can't find events in another location

    1) I can't select another location when searching for events. The screenshot shows that I'm searching for Singapore, but it gives results for places that have the word "Singapore" in their name and are located in Russia
    2) I can't change the language of the application

    I have played my wife in round one 5 times in a row, we do have the same last name. I don't know if you can explain how I can randomly play the same person round one 5 tournaments in a row. This was at 3 different locations. Being on the same team and playing round one is not fun, we already play at home a lot.
