- Open SpellTable and start or join a lobby
- Select the gear icon to configure inputs
- Actual: No input devices are detected under “Camera Source”
- Expected: My camera can be selected for “Camera Source”
Additional Information to Provide
- The brand, model, and/or type of device you’re using (USB webcam, Android/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, etc.)
- The version or your operating system you’re using (i.e.: Windows 10, MacOS Big Sur, Android 11, iOS 14, etc.)
- Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
- A screenshot of the issue or any error messaging received (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
- The last are simple checks for any camera/microphone issues you might encounter:
- Ensured permission has been granted for your Camera and Microphone through your preferred browser: Use your camera & microphone
- Ensured that no other programs are using your Camera or Microphone (you can find information on how to perform this check by searching online)
- Temporarily disabling any Anti-Virus programs that might disable camera and microphone access (even if you’re already granted it)
- Tested your camera is working with Online Mic Test

Spelltable camera feed bug: feed shows black bars on each side, obstructing left and right edge of the video
Camera: HD Pro Webcam C920, front-facing laptop camera, any other device I tried it on
Issue: A few days ago (at the time of writing) black bars suddenly appeared on the side of the video feed, obstructing the left and right side of the video. This has been the case for every browser that I have tried it on (Firefox, Chrome, Edge) and for every device I connected.

Bug - Screen goes black
Encountered this problem where my streaming goes black about half an hour started. Surely not a device problem beacause the browser and itself signals as funcioning and recording.

OBS video source displays in lobby, but displays black screen in game
When using OBS virtual camera the preview works fine, but when you enter a game the screen is black.
Setup:
-Windows 11
-Google Chrome Browser
-Enabled Camera/Audio permissions in Chrome and windows
-When pulling video directly from a camera the video is fine.

Joining a game, all opponents have black screens
While trying to play a 1 on 1 game with a friend, my end shows my webcam just fine, but their screen is black. On their end, they see both their own and my webcam. We've reloaded the same lobby over and over, loaded into a new lobby and reloaded that one. They also can't hear me in lobby but I can hear them in lobby. We are both using webcams with separate mics and have the settings set so our mic/webcam of choice is the default option. Any idea on how to fix it?

My video will not appear full screen no matter camera or browser
Over the last year I have used spell table and my camera alone cut off a large portion of my video, where there were 2 black bars on both the left and right of the image. I initially thought this was my webcam but it is also true with different cameras. I tested this with both Firefox and Chrome and the issue remains. Looking for suggestion on how to fix this issue.

Stuck in Loading Screen
spelltable just will not load, its just sits at a loading screen indefinitely! I have tried reseting my router, reseting my computer, turning off ad blocker, clearing cashe and cookies, using a different browser and nothing is working! please help as i would like to play some magic and cant at the moment!

I can get three different sources shown correctly right before I join in but as soon as I do, everyone else's screen is black and has this same message- it doesn't make any sense because I can't change other peoples cameras. Also, I can see other people's camera's for about a half second before it just blacks out and gives the error message for everyone.

Camera and microphone not working in game
In the lobby, my camera works fine, and in-game, my camera light indicates that it's on and being used, but I have a black screen and can't see any of my opponents' screens. I also can't hear my opponents and they can't hear me. I tested a Facebook call and a Discord call and confirmed it wasn't a hardware issue. Both apps used the camera and microphone without a hitch.

Mobile camera is not properly connecting
I have been using my mobile Android device for spelltable for half a year. Until about 3 days ago, there had been no issues at all. Now whenever I use my mobile camera, the lobby screen on my pc still shows the QR code and is black even after successfully scanning and logging in with my phone. I am able to record myself and my table with my phone but none of it registers with the spelltable lobby open in my pc. Menu bar missing on mobile
Using chrome on mobile (android 12), I somehow hid the menu bar in game. I can no longer mute, change settings, etc.
On PC I can move the mouse to the left side of the screen and the menu pops up. On mobile that equates to hitting the back button in the browser, and leaves the game. I have relogged a few times trying to reset my window, to no avail. I only see the four player screens no matter what I have tried.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

"We had trouble using your device" with Surf Onn 1440p with Autofocus
I found a Surf Onn 1440p Webcame in clearance at walmart for cheap and figured it be a good upgrade from me old one, my wifes old unbranded webcam that gives off a fisheye affect while playing. But the new one wont work on Spelltable. The "Create Game" button on spelltable doesnt work
I am signed into spelltable and I select "Create Game". I enter the appropriate info and click "Create". After a few moments of loading, the game creation screen fails to load and resets.

Virtual Webcam Not Working
Computer: macOS Monterey version 12.5
Browser: ChromeI use an OBS (Streamlabs OBS) to stream games. A month ago I learned that I could use the Virtual Webcam option on the OBS to stream a digital deck on Moxfield or Archideckt to spelltable. So, instead of my desktop camera being used to stream my actual cards so all players could see my cards, I learned I could stream my digital versions of the deck from a deckbuilding site strain to spelltable.

Phone Camera Stuck on Loading Screen
Hey! I've been trying to connect my phone to spelltable and everything works fine until I press join game, for some reason when it starts loading in I get stuck on a blank page and it doesn't show my camera anymore but my phone is saying spelltable is using it. Not sure if it's my phone or is it something with the site?

Spelltable Codex wont Load?
Basically when I log in to play with friend they have no issues but I'm only able to detect my own cards and when they try to load its a little white error box and loads the cards on the list as just title and black, not the actual card or image of it.

phone camera not working
The phone camera is not working as of 08/21/25. I've had no issues for the last 6 months. Now I can't get video to load no matter what browser I use or what aspect ratio I put the camera settings to. I've tried turning on and off the Configure Inputs option for "Use phone as Webcam" and every other thing I can think of. Every time I try to load in video the QR code remains on screen and the phone screen goes blank after several moments of the "contacting server" message.

camera freeze every 10 minutes
When i play on spelltable with my webcam or even when i stream with OBS, every 5 to 10 minutes my camera freeze for the other players and i have a black screen.
i have to refresh my page and it work again, but like that people think that i m a cheater.1 vote -
Camera bug for in game. Spelltable.
my camera works perfectly fine in all instances including discord, skype, even the pre join section of the game that shows your display. after going into the game it remains black.
command console shows error of it repeatedly retrying to bring it up and failing.

There was a problem changing the camera, try closing your camera app.
I went to play a game of Commander with my friends like i just did 6 hours ago. In the lobby screen i could see my Cam just like i used to for the past 1.5 years but after clicking join lobby it showed ,,There was a problem changing the camera, try closing your camera app.". It is the first time i had that problem, as I said 6h earlier it worked just fine and all my attempts to fix it failed. Please Help
