    While on MacOS, I cannot make a monetary purchase in the store. There is just a permanent "Waiting for server" message, spinning perpetually. I have to quit the MTGA client and restart the app.

    I keep thinking this must be some kind of temporary network glitch, but this has been a problem for months. Luckily I've been able to work around it using my iPhone.

    If deleting your preferences isn't causing your client to load in Full Screen mode the next time you launch MTGA, then perhaps you are launching it from the Epic Games launcher? Or Steam?

    If you're launching from Epic Games, you can specify command-line arguments per the instructions here to force Full Screen mode on launch:

    I don't use Steam, but I would bet you can modify the command line arguments there in a similar fashion.

    I discovered what the bug really is. You have to be playing in Full Screen mode!
    If, like me, you can't click in the client because it's windowed, open a terminal -- the Terminal app will suffice -- and perform the following commands to delete your preferences.

    $ cd ~/Library/Preferences
    $ rm com.wizards.mtga.plist

    You'll have to log back in and reset your client preferences to taste. Just don't uncheck the Full Screen option!
