Hi, on both Saturday (Oct 21) and Sunday (Oct 22) we started playing Direct Game Rebalanced from around 12.30 AM Eastern US time. For the first 90 minutes we were able to connect and play as normal.
From around 2.00 AM, every time we tried we would initiate and accept the challenge, we would get "waiting for server" or other network issues. We tried for about 20 minutes, over 20 challenges/accepts, and even closed MTGA and rebooted our PCs. We also tried from different PCs, and still the same "waiting for server" or network error. Again, this happened at around the same time on two different nights. We stopped trying around 2.30 AM.
Both of us play on Windows 10 PCs. For the first instances, one was playing the Steam version, and the other the direct download from MTGA. We also tried playing from both MTGA downloads, but that did not change anything, the problem continued.
Edit: November 18 2023 Direct Challenge did not work at all tonight. This is getting very frustrating.
