You do realize that's the whole point of the offspring ability? The problem is more of the cost of the offspring ability, which is generally just [2]. And when it isn't, it generally still has a CMC of less than 3. -

Did the creatures have deathtouch? Were you triggering effects by targeting your opponent's creatures? Was your opponent casting spells or using abilities in response?

There are a bunch of cards that will say something like "each opponent loses 1 life" and since those cards don't target, they ignore hexproof.

I'm going to assume that you did buy the mastery pass since that reward is on the paid track. Instead I will ask this:
Are you saying that because Arena didn't tell you what you got or because you checked you collection & verified that you got nothing? Because Arena is notorious for not saying what cards you get from mastery pass even though you did get them.
