I experienced this same issue, except i restarted Arena, to rejoin just as my turn had been skipped and my opponent was swinging in. This occurred in a standard play game. Opponent's tag was YouWereCool.

Was playing a draft and the opponent timed out. The timer froze before the opponent should have "blown up" from the time out, and I still received the loss.

I experienced the same issue where my opponents timed out and the game kept running. Gave me no other option but to concede despite letting the game run on for 30mins waiting. Can't believe that this is a continuous bug yet to be resolved.

I'm calling in to the next Hasbro earnings report to ask Deb Thomas by name why WOTC hasn't been able to fix a game breaking bug in over three years. Because I'm sure the investors consider themselves serious people and that's an awful lot of time to pay a team of programmers to ignore a mission critical problem.

There was a possible disconnection of the opponent, after which his timeout ended and further actions are impossible. The only way out is to close the game, thereby assigning defeat (the game was in the Sealed format). Please cancel 1 loss due to a technical error in the game.

Opponent timed out on Main Phase 1, game now not moving. Assuming I'll get a "loss" like everyone else whose reported this recurring issue.

I see that this issue persisted since 2019 and is still happening. I'm attaching my log as well. I'm stuck on the screen where the opponent is choosing to mulligan or not. The opponent's timer has been stuck on the edge for 5 minutes now.

About to make the winning play and opponent time-out went but never expires and is stuck. I'll have to exit the game and likely get the loss even though I won.
Attaching the log, can see that I was about to control the board easily with a spinning kick play and opponent timed out on priority. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Similar issue.
Game loaded, Opponent selected, Chose hand. After a long pause got the Timeout rope but no cards could be activated. After one rope lands were active, played a land. No other cards active, no buttons. Another rope, timed out. Loss recorded.
