Game locks when opponent concedes at ranked
Game locks when opponent concedes at ranked.
- The game does not disconect.
- User menu cannot be acces by ESC key. The only way to quit is by closing the game in windows.
- Cards animation and graphics engine still working.
Not the first time that happen. Player concedes inmediatly after played card animation finish.
Always with odd names players. In this case: USBSoundDevice
I think that "Raal, Izzet Viceroy" triggers it... Hard to say if it is a bug or a hack. I was playing murderous raider on him. Or maybe rage quiters are broking the game XD

This also happened to me during Brawler's Guildhall. The only way out is to concede.

The same bug happened to me just now.
I was tapping lands, when my opponent conceded. The head exploding animation happened, but now the game is crashed with their head disappeared. I can still mouse over cards and right click them, and all those animations work, but the game state will not advance and I cannot get the menu by pressing escape.

This bug happened to me when I attempted to ***** a Fabled Passage, both actions appeared to happen simultaneously. Unsure if this is related to the bug.

Opponent conceded the game: the explosion animation happened, and then an empty black circle remained in place of the opponent's avatar. Then nothing, the game state just remained up. I could still interact with what was on the screen: I could use the arrow that tucks away the stack, could select and deselect pass the turn/resume turn. But otherwise, nothing happened. The countdown-timer-rope-thing never showed up. I couldn't get out of the game (pressing escape did nothing; the gear icon in the upper corner was missing). I had to force quit the program using taskbar. Screenshot attached.

My opponent conceded during his end step. His avatar blew up leaving a black hole and the game never ended. My pet would still play with me. I had to restart the client.

In traditional ranked, second time today the opponent has conceded and it has frozen the game forcing me to restart the client which counts as a loss for me. I am practicing for the MCQW this is inexcusable! I have to re rank to mythic because every month obviously our accounts are reset and every loss is at least an hour of wasted time I have spent. You have to fix this!

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on a planeswalker
2. Opponent concede before you have made your choice. -

Third time in three games. Unplayable in its current state.

*sigh* and again, this time after a restart and on my concession...

Hi WOTC, can someone please help out your Service Desk staff as they seem unsure which ticket management and redirection strategy they should be using.
In the meantime, I've been stuck on the Victory screen since my opponent conceded over 20 minutes ago, hoping MTGA will finally figure out that the game is over...

Yap, this is REALLY painful after playing a 20 minute control game and finally getting the win. Very frustrating, especially in an event where wins matter. Gross. Makes me feel like I just wasted 20 minutes of my life. Woof.

same here.
and the screen advertising the problem should probably portray the MTGA build number -

Doesn't always happen, but a couple of times every month, maybe once every 50-100 games. It tends to happen when the player quits right after / in the middle of my actions and I get the sense it's a timing thing. The client will still sit there, taking my input, but the player portrait will be blank and the game stuck.

My opponent just conceded but the game just stalls in this state since over 15 minutes. I can hoover over a card and interact with my fox but I can't exit the game, not even concede. My tracker says that the game ended 1-1, but it was the first game of a Bo3 series I just won...

Had the same thing happen to me today, playing Historic Izzet Affinity against a Feather deck. Never had it happen before. Escape did nothing, couldn't play cards or enter the options menu; things like viewing graveyards/libraries were still possible though. If it's relevant at all they seem to have conceded at the same time I went to activate Karn? Attached a log as well; it might be useless since I had to force close and reopen the program, but might as well.
