Having the same problem. Waiting 10 minutes every time I want to play makes me not want to play

Same here on my account, my wife's account, and a friend's account. Asset error occurred validating assets on every log out since zendikar release. Having to wait so long sucks but it is understandable that there are issues when new sets come out. An explanation or at least a "we hear you and dont worry we got this" would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having asset issues. This has been one of the more frustrating things since...I can't remember when. Mostly it's worse than before; Before it would only happen when Amonkhet background would load...

Same happened to me

I'm getting the "validating asset files" on startup every time since ZR released. After the game eventually loads, everything works fine, but it's super annoying having to wait 15-20 minutes to validate asset files every time I launch the client.

I'm closing my name normally, and have had no issues during my gameplay. However, every freaking time I open it back up, I have to wait TWENTY minutes so that I can play again! What the **** WOTC? This is UNACCEPTABLE.

I've been unable to play Zendikar Rising. The game is laggy beyond playability. I've lost a draft ticket and am two losses into my second draft without being able to play a land. I'm ever hopeful that this will resolve, but, I'm out of ideas as to how to be proactive. I've tried all I know and all I've read on the forums. Please help.

I also have this issue. It occurs whenever I open Arena. There's no sign of an issue when I'm playing, only on boot. It takes like 15 minutes to validate the assets, which is just extra frustrating.

Started playing a few days ago, and the crashes are absolutely disgusting. Plus every time the game is opened, I have to "validate asset files" every time. Would never recommended this game, or ever, EVER spend money on this.

Every update the client gets more unreliable and the servers worse.
Have lost countless amount of gems and coins to random server disconnects since I started playing MTG Arena back in beta but for the most part I've always been able to log back on after a disconnect and resume the match. But now, since zendikar released, every disconnect is followed by a 5 minute validation of files.
I want to play the game but I'm not joining any more drafts just to throw away gems like this

Same here. Keeps having the error, checking assets, ever since Zendikar update occurred. Please advise with a fix. Thanks!

Why do I get this "asset error" screen every time I log in to the game? It updated just fine yesterday so it should be good. Please look into this.
Thanks!

I have also been getting this error. It started after the Sept 18 patch. And happens almost every time

I'm adding my voice to the chorus of frustrated, dissatisfied customers who are experiencing these 'asset revalidations' upon starting up MTGA. Also, the disconnections with the servers are unacceptable, especially when participating in an event that real life money was paid to enter. Never at a real life FNM would my table get flipped over and the judge would reward my opponent with a W, and give me a L. Again...very frustrating.
