Error Updating Data
The game is stuck on startup.
It says : "Error Updating Data - Please check your connection and try again".
Obviously my connection work just fine. I think this is a bug.

Every time I try to start the game I keep getting an error updating data and have no idea. My connection is good. But for some reason it’s stuck on that on my iPhone and my pc

Same here, cant play MTGArena on Mobile or PC since the last update. Reinstalling does not help. Maybe fix the game before adding more ways to spend money on it.

Khans patch made it impossible for me to even load the game. I am stuck on an error updating data. I even deleted the game and reinstalled it and I am still unable to access the game.

Been locked out with this error message since the ktk update yesterday. Just hoping wizards actually acknowledges this and shows that the game is down instead of acting like everything is fine and dandy

After the Khans of Tarkir update was installed on my iPad (IOS) i attempted to login and play, but the game will no longer load. I keep getting an error message “Error updating data.” I uninstalled the game and downloaded the game again, attempted to login but I’m getting the same message. I have 1GB network speeds on all my other devices and applications (including my ipad) so I am not having connection issues with connectivity. This update has absolutely locked me out of the game. Please fix this. Thanks!

Same issue here. In the logs I found a start hook internal error response message logged. This is appears to be a server side issue.

I tried Epic, Steam, and a straight Windows install with no luck, then deleted all the folders I installed them into and tried again. Restarted multiple times. Tried turning off my antivirus, did everything the useless website said and still NOTHING. Does Wizards care? No. They just fired 1100 of their own people, some, very likely from the Arena team. I have no faith they will fix it either so I guess that's several years of my life, money and entertainment down the drain.

I am also experiencing this error. I have deleted the game and reinstalled 5 times on my android and also 5 times on my computer. Same error every single time. I normally play every single day, this is really upsetting that wizards is not acknowledging this error.
