Mono red matchmaking issues
Hello i've been experiencing a matchmaking bug were everytime i que with a monored deck i just get matched with other monored deck. I have been able to replicate the "Bug" with 100% accuracy, if i switch to another deck for example a sultai ramp deck then the matchmaking seems to work as usual.
It seems like other players have taking noticed of this bug aswell since i've seen quite alot of redcap melee being maindecked .
For clarification i've only been experimanting with the standarplay que but there i've played around 20 games of monored and everyone has been vs another monored deck

honestly you monored players can go play with eachother in the corner while the rest of us enjoy actual mtg

Red mono in free play should be isolated. It's not a bug.
They just push their firepower as fast as they can and surrender as soon as it doesn't work. The play experience is very poor. -

Yes, this is a huge problem. I first noticed this in the "Play" queue when I played 27 games with 25 of them being against mono red. The previous 2 days were just as bad. I did some more testing of my own. When playing a mono red deck, my days have been 18 matches out of 22 were also against mono red. Other days were 10 of 16, 13 of 15 and, today, was 18 of 22. Statistically speaking, that is impossible if the algorithms for the "play" queue are working appropriately. It is actually becoming so well known that people are changing their mono red decks to include Blazing Volley and Redcap Melee, which no one was main decking before. As soon as I switch to another deck, this issue stops.
I am extremely disappointed in the response that I received. I was told the algorithms are working appropriately. If one technician checked my game logs or simply ran a "net deck" mono red deck, they would see the issue right away.

this exact thing is happening to me. how is a system where random matchmaking is supposed to happen does this happen. the game shouldn't even pay attention to what is in the deck before it decides who im playing. I think this is hella shady and kind of showing that they are trying every bit waaaaaay to hard to control gameplay

It's not a bug, it's a feature. This matchmaking is terrible. Is doing it on purpose.
