MTG Arena crashing on Mac
First time playing on a Mac, the client crashes after every match I complete, then crashes on the next restart.

Wizards, how is it possible that you aren’t responding to these concerns in a non robotic way? It’s on your company to produce a solid product and it is incredibly obvious that you have failed to deliver. I do not need any advice on troubleshooting any problems because I don’t have any yet. Reading what I’ve read has given me all the information I need to make the decision to not run Arena on my Mac. The fact that there are no real responses from anyone at WOTC to all of these concerns is mind blowing. The issues are on your end, they must be, because a group of people this diverse can’t all have the same problems with their setups. No, it’s a problem with the Arena itself! What are you doing about it?

I generally crash when transitioning to/from an active game of magic. Occasionally other times it crashes as well, but the transitions are usually the most likely to crash.

The last couple updates seem to have helped a lot - I rarely get crashes anymore. But they still happen. I'll attach the latest crash report here, which happened right after the end of a game.

I noticed that when the game is in constant-crashing mode, if I simply close and reopen my laptop it will often solve the issue. Not sure if this will work for others, but try it out.

This may be resolved with the latest release. No crashes after 30 minutes on current build.

I've been experiencing this same behavior (constant crashing when transitioning between screens or clicking Play - 15-inch Macbook Pro 2018). I'm surprised that there's been no acknowledgement of the issue by the developer, let alone a fix.
Consider treating your users better. Most of them have forked over money for the experience (though I admit I promised myself I wouldn't spend anything until the Mac version became minimally stable).

My client randomly crashes for seemingly no reason. It could be that I am going into a match, or that I am going into the store, or that I am going into my deck editor. Often runs fine for multiple hours with no problem, then may randomly crashes several times in a row. Playing on a brand new MacAir with upgraded processing speed.

Albeit slow and laggy, MTGA was mostly fine on my Mac, since day one of it being available on the EGS. As of this week for some reason it crashes if I enter the store, start a new game (after matching me of course, forcing my opponent to wait for me to log back in), or just randomly. I'm afraid to start a draft as I might get kicked during the timed picks and I don't want to waste any gems or draft tokens.
Ironically today it has run the smoothest since I installed it, but the crashes still happen.

Yeah, this is a daily struggle. Spent 40 minutes reopening MTG Arena because it crashes every time I click play. Got one game in... It also crashes if I try to view/edit/select decks. It says it's an asset error. Hope that helps. Love mtg or I wouldn't waste so much time, please fix!

Mine was running fine for a few days and now it is crash city, baby!!! Load and hit anything and *CRASH!!!!*
What is strange to me is Wizards not acknowledging this at all. Like most people on this thread, I have been waiting for a very long time for Mac users to finally get in the Arena game. We understand that there are bugs early on in a new system but good customer service says you acknowledge it and let us know you are working on it if it's your fault or EPIC's fault, doesn't matter, it's ultimately your product. So Wizards, what is the story with these crashes???? When are we going to get an update that starts to work on the issue? What is Epic saying about the problem? Oh, and while we are at it, why can't I get the game to go full screen on the macbooks? Can we get a fix on that bug as well, please?

When these issues get fixed I will be willing to spend money to increase my digital cards. I love buying box sets for tabletop cards. Being able to save the space at my house will be a welcome change!
